Now is not a great time to sign up for subscriptions, in my opinion. Unless you had a free version and then a paid one, or you could use Substack. If you end up doing a paid one, I would offer something like $2.99/month or $29.99/year. $5 and $10 a month is a lot. Good luck!
I agree with Elisha, money is really tight right now but I would understand doing a paid version of your sub stack. I do really appreciate all the hard work that you do and I would definitely consider paying for the subscription (once I can find a more stable job, which will hopefully be soon), but I think a paid version and a free version would be best. Although, that would definitely be more work, so I’m not sure. Or maybe $3-$4 a month. Either way it’s up to you of course. Thank you again for all that you do, helping to keep us all well informed. I would personally prefer to see a “tip jar” or an easy way to donate as opposed to a subscription fee. That way those that can pay will and it doesn’t cut out those that maybe can’t afford to pay right now. Protecting nonpartisan news, and it being able to reach as many people as possible would be my priority. Understanding this takes time and energy, we do appreciate it!
Perhaps free for some content and a paid version for full content or with some kind of extra perks. In general, love your content and appreciate your work!

I already subscribe to 19 Substacks and am going to have to cut back. I can’t afford another sub right now. But appreciate your work!
